thank you for looking here. I'll make a few predictions now... it is easier for a Republican to vote for a Green than it is for a Republican to vote for a Democrat... two years ago I received 29% overall and I predict an increase to 39 - 44% overall this time... now if I do get 50.1 % this time please let me know who you are by RSVP'ing to traversegreen@yahoo.com for a celebration of that feat!!! peace, Tom Mair as of Oct 28, 2010 the winds have taken a toll on the yard signs... spent this morning bending the metal frames straight. A couple of signs may have flown to Kalkaska. the signs have had a great response and that is good because there are only 35 - 40 signs outdoors. the time spent going door-to-door has been the best time spent... everyone has been friendly and kind. I feel that my numbers will be up dramatically from '08. peace, Tom as of Oct 10, 2010 hello... the yard sign plan is taking shape... focusing on thru streets like Cass and Front/N Long Lake. do you know of a place where a sign would attract voters? send me your ideas on signage and comments/concerns about GT County. especially about jobs, Munson Hospital, and Traverse City Light & Power. I'd love to hear from you! coming later this month... the TC Record Eagle will get to hear what I think about how they (the editors) have shown favoritism for my opponent. I will say this when I go for my editorial board interview. e-mail traversegreen@yahoo.com as of Sept 29, 2010 hello my name is Tom Mair and I mailed a postcard to the permanent absentee voters in Traverse City Pct. 1, 3, 10, and Garfield Twp. Pct 5 this week. the postcard was an explanation on how to vote. if you vote a straight ticket (select a political party only) you may also make an exception and vote for Tom Mair for County Board of Commissioners (Green). that is called a Split Ticket. watch for my white hybrid car with the cool door magnet signs! watch for me and my supporters in your neighborhood. the Old Town neighborhood will be first. I opened this page on September 19, 2010 peace, Tom traversegreen@yahoo.com | |
