| Important Issues: |
 | A crime is being committed by our congress. It has been known for many years now that those United States citizens, born between 1917 and 1926 (the WWII generation) are being given less social security benefits than the rest of the population. There are three bills, now in congress, that are getting nowhere. This dragging of our congress’s feet must stop. Give the elders of our society what they rightly deserve. To wait while 11,000 of these deserving citizens die each year is criminal and unconscionable.
Elections and Democracy
Elections that are paid for by the public are necessary to allow unfettered access to our elected representatives. All forms of corporate support to the election process should end.
Corporate Responsibility
This is an oxymoron. Corporations are not human beings. It is impossible for them to be responsible. The men and women that control and benefit from the operation of the corporation must be held responsible. That is not being done. The people should reserve the right to abolish the charter of any corporation that does not serve the public good.
Health Care
Basic health care for all citizens and visitors to our country, is a basic human right. Doing anything less is an attack on the very spirit and definition of being a human being.

| Why Vote For Me: |
 | The Green Party differs from other political parties in a few very important ways. The first and most important is that the Green Party is made up of activists. Few of us want to be politicians. Most of us would rather be climbing a tree than spending so much time having to hold our representatives to their intended purpose. But we are alarmed. We see our natural wilderness disappearing, our streets clogged with more and more traffic, and with increased overdevelopment, our air, water and land being used and abused by a few to benefit a few. That is the heart of the Green Party: activism. We act out of a commitment and sense of duty to shared values. The Green Party of California has Ten Key Values. The first Four are called the Four Pillars of the Green Party.
This brings me to one of the main reasons that brought me to the Green party and one that sets it apart form all other political parties on the ballot. The Green Party is an international party. We have the pulse of the earth at our fingertips. Whether you go to Italy, Germany, Peru or Poland, the Four Pillars of the Green Party are the same. Greens from all these countries believe in: Ecological Wisdom, Grassroots Democracy, Social Justice, and Nonviolence. These are values shared by human beings around the world. The Green Party embodies these values in the form of a political party, which is able to act on many levels to put these values into practice.
The biggest distinction between the Green Party and all it's other political rivals is how we are funded. We will take no money from corporations. This single distinction makes the Green party more independent, more just, more reliable, more fair minded and more honest than it would otherwise be if it accepted corporate donations or bribes. It is the corporate campaign contribution that has ruined our representative democracy. You and I are no longer being represented in Congress. We are merely the audience to a circus corrupted by money, greed and selfishness. The good thing is that this is a very easy problem to fix. Simply make these campaign contributions illegal. Provide publicly funded elections and return the power of government to the people where it was intended to be. The Green Party strives to be the change we wish to see and in campaign finance we are a example all parties can look up to
