Practical Idealism. Common sense, common ground, consistent life solutions to divisive issues such as abortion and gun control. Sustainable Economy A retooled economy based on sustainability, and new green jobs - jobs that wont leave the country. A Serious Path to Peace. A return of full control to the Iraqi government and the United Nations, enabling an Iraqi-led peace process. Engagement of regional actors including the Arab League and implement security arrangements that build a stable Iraq Coming Home - Support the Troops. Our troops, who have fought, been injured, and died must be taken care of. They deserve full educational benefits and a fully funded VA, with healthcare that includes mental health. Election Reform Real democracy that involves everyone, re-engaging the disenfranchised. Implement instant runoff voting so multiple parties can be heard. Health Care for All Assure fair, equitable, and affordable health care for all, with no one left out; a single payer system is the only way to achieve this goal. |
