A New Menu For Democracy

Thank you ALL for your support

We are working on expanding our bloggers to any Green Party member who wants a free blog. If you are interested in blogging on this site, send us an email using the link at the bottom of this page.

New Menu comes from the idea that as citizens in a democracy, we should not be like people visiting a restaurant, coming in periodically and chosing from a list of options.  We should should be in the kitchen, with our sleeves rolled up, coming up with new ideas that will benefit us collectively.  We need to create a new menu of services we need from our government, not accept the choices our government is offering us.

Candidates who listed with the US Green Party as Greens, from local to national office, may have a free web site through this page.  Included is an email address, a blog, calendar, guest book, and other features that will be added later.  Green campaigns that already have a web site, may still be listed in our directory with a link to their official election site.  Greens may choose from one or all of our current offered services.  Green candidates with little or no campaign budgets can still have their platform, issues, and contact information available online.  We will also consider and list green-friendly candidates running in non-partisan races for our directory.

Although we are too old to have a MySpace account, we would still like to add you as a friend.

All options offered:

  • Online Calendar
  • Town Hall Q & A
  • Email

Mass communication should be the masses broadcasting the message, not receiving it.  This is especially true in politics.   A New Menu is run by Greens for Greens.
