| Important Issues: |
 | Election Reform: Instant runoff voting. Qualified public financing for state-wide and national elections. Level ballot access requirements with no preference for any affiliation.
Healthcare: "single-payer," not for profit, universal public health care for all U.S. citizens and lawful, tax-paying residents.
Illegal Immigration: Address the underlying economic causes like NAFTA. No amnesty or public benefits for illegal aliens. Do not build walls along the border.
Iraq: Compel an immediate end to the occupation by de-funding it. Remove all U.S. military personnel, mercenaries, and other "contractors." |

| Why Vote For Me: |
 | The short answer is, "Because it needs to be done." I consider it self-evident that most citizens share my lack of feeling meaningfully represented by our government. Rather than having participatory democracy, we have a bogus theater where corporate-financed candidates and elected officials engage in finger-pointing and externally limited "debate" that is usually framed within the false dichotomy of "left vs. right." We have a Democratic Congress and a Republican President infringing on our civil liberties in the name of "national security" even as people starve to death in New Orleans. Politicians trumpet the virtues of our economy based on growth statistics and GDP while our trade deficit swells and more and more Americans go without health insurance. Our news sources report scandal after scandal, but we just shake our heads, roll our eyes, and accept this behavior as "normal" or "expected." We say to ourselves, "What am I to do?" before changing the channel, and we vainly hope and pray that the broken system will somehow self-correct. Or we just quit watching the news.
