| Job History: |
 | For the last 12 years, I have been involved in various aspects of IT training and technical support. I have also at various times taught high school Latin (10 years), written and sold résumé packages, handled baggage for an airline, driven taxis, sold CDs and accessories, played in a few bands, taught piano, and presented aptitude test preparation courses. |

| Important Issues: |
 | Iraq and Afghanistan: Get the US out, as we have done far more harm than good; the resources expended there are needed here. Elsewhere, end the foreign policies that keep corporate-backed dictators in power and make the U.S. the pariah of the planet.
Environment and Climate Change: No new coal-fired power plants; remove the "grandfathering" from existing power generators and bring them into compliance with the Clean Air Act; invest massively in clean transportation, especially commuter and intercity rail; ratify and comply with the Kyoto Protocols ASAP.
Ending Domestic Wars: The War on Drugs is an expensive and senseless failure, merely one aspect of the War on the Poor. Let's completely decriminalize marijuana for adult use, grow hemp for its multiple benefits. Restrain the corporate greed that contributes to the War on Workers, and make union membership meaningful again.
Health Care: Single-payer, universal, comprehensive medical care ASAP. It works in other wealthy countries, and we can make it work here.
Immigration: Dismantle trade agreements and IMF extortions that keep foreign workers poor, disenfranchised, and desperate, prompting them to seek employment in the U.S. legally or otherwise. We need to redevelop our neighboring nations and stop plundering them.
And many more. |

| Why Vote For Me: |
 | It's not about me. If you decided to cast your vote for David B. Collins, you're doing so for the benefit of the Green Party in Texas. We need at least one candidate to get 5% of the vote in order to be considered a legitimate party in this state, and to avoid collecting thousands of petition signatures every other year. |
