While the administrators and moderators of this site will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every page.  Therefore, you acknowledge that all individual pages express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for messages by these people) and hence no representative of New Menu will not be held liable.

Candidates using our site, our email, or our blog agree not to post or send any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws.  Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned.  Candidates also must agree in large part to the 10 Key Principles of Greens.  New Menu will listen to the opinions of The Green Party Of The US and relevant local green parties when deciding if a candidate should be listed in our directory.  Candidates agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this web site have the right to remove, edit, move or close any personal page at any time should they see fit.  While candidate information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised or any publicly displayed information.

If any visitor contacts a candidate through this site, the candidate is solely responsible for responding and their response.  New Menu is an independant directory of green candidates, we are not responsible for candidate's actions, and the candidates are not accountable to New Menu.

New Menu's servers log IP addresses for systems administration and trouble-shooting.  We track page hits in the aggregate to track the popularity of pages that people visit.  New Menu doesn't use these files to collect personally identifying information; log files and IP addresses are neither stored with nor used in conjunction with personal information.

New Menu is concerned about the safety and privacy of children online.  Because of this, New Menu makes all efforts to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA).  COPPA and its accompanying FTC regulations establish United States federal law that protects the privacy of children using the Internet.  We will not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under 13.  Our site is not intended to solicit information of any kind from children under 13.
